RIGHTS OF THE SWIMMING CHILD INFANT AND HIS/HER FAMILY
(To get full skills)

Children have the right:

To be respected.
To get mental and physical health protection.
Not to be conditioned.
Not to be trained.
To experience a right learning.
To learn without suffering fear, anguish or other negative experiences.
To be examined and certified by the family pediatrician.
To play in hygienic premises, with adequate infrastructure, with a constant temperature of 32º and water purity sanitary controls.
To learn to swim by playing with pleasure and happiness.
To be assisted in due time, before any of his/her actions might provoke anxiety, anguish or an inafortunate experience.
To receive select and timely proposal in accordancec with his/her capacity to answer them.
To swim always under responsible adult supervision.

(After basic learning - abilities and styles)
Children have the right
To enter into the water knowing that he/she is not obliged to do what he/she does not desire.
To know and practice safety rules for him/her and for the others.
To decide the distance to be swim across, the height of the splashes; the depth to reach; the quantity of repetitions of same activity; the performance of a new activity; the use of a didactic element.
To receive technical explanations according to his/her intellectual level, to enable him/her to understand and perfect his/her actions.
To learn technically perfect and efficient actions only in order to avoid the acquisition of wrong styles.

PARENTS HAVE THE RIGHT
To be respected in their role.
To play freely with their child under responsible supervision.
To be informed about the trainning of the teachers in charge of the learnin process.
To receive any information, explanation, pedagogic remarks and tectonics from the teacher..
To know and practice safety rules for themselves and the others.
To become aware of the child´s capacity to react in case of accident.
To be instructed about the way to prevent an aquatic accident and be ready to take actions in case it happens.
